Place the chicken in a large ziplock bag.

Mix the marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken in the bag. Seal the bag and shake to even distribute over the chicken pieces.

Marinate the chicken in the fridge for at least 1 hour for up to 12 hours.

For freezing, place the bag on a flat surface like a cookie sheet and distribute the chicken out into a single layer inside the bag. This will allow the chicken to defrost more quickly and evenly.
