Super Green Kale Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 green apple cored and diced
  • ½ English cucumber chopped
  • 1 cup Honeydew diced
  • 1 handful baby kale
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 cups water
  • 5-6 ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Prepare the apple, cucumber and honeydew by washing and dicing as needed. Place in the blender.
  2. Add a large handful of kale and baby spinach to the blender. Drizzle in the maple syrup and pour in the water.
  3. Blend all the ingredients together on medium speed until well mixed. Turn the blender on high and add in the ice cubes.
Recipe Notes

Tip: Chop up an entire honeydew melon and place in one layer on a cookie sheet in the freezer. Once it’s frozen, transfer it to a freezer bag to use as needed. You can also do this with your apple to help speed up the smoothie making process in the morning.
