Pepperoni Pizza Braid
  • 1 can Pillsbury™ refrigerated classic pizza crust
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take the pizza crust out of packaging and straighten it out into a rectangle. No rolling pin required!
  3. Cut the dough into strips along the long edges, just don't cut all the way through. Leave about a 3-4" centre. This is where you will place all your pizza goodness.
  4. Spread your pizza sauce along this centre. Add more or less as you desire, just keep in mind if you put too much, it may get messy.
  5. Layer the toppings on your pizza sauce, reserving some pepperonis for the top of the braid.
  6. Starting from one end, fold strips of dough over the filling to the center, so the ends overlap and it looks braided. Place the remaining pepperoni on top of the braid and sprinkle with the oregano.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the crust is golden brown. Allow the pizza to cool for 5 minutes before cutting then serve. Enjoy!
