Bacon Double Cheeseburger Nachos
  • 1 bag of corn tortillas chips (or your preferred nacho chips)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese , shredded
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese , shredded
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small white onion , diced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 slices (1/2 lb) bacon, cooked and crumbled
  1. Cook your bacon in a frying pan until crisp and set aside. Drain the grease from the bacon and chop into small pieces.
  2. Turn on the broiler in your oven.
  3. Spread the nacho chips on an ovenproof cookie sheet. Scatter the shredded cheese over top of the nachos. Place the nachos under the broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Remove from the oven and top the nachos with the cooked beef and bacon pieces. Add any additional toppings as per your personal preference. My personal favorites are lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers, salsa and sour cream.
