St. Patrick’s Day Green Trifle
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package vanilla pudding
  • green food colouring
  • 1 cup graham crumbs or crushed graham crackers
  • Gold foiled coins (optional)
  1. Combine the whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix to stiff peaks. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the vanilla pudding mix as per instructions on the package. Add green food colouring to the pudding mixture while you are whisking it. I used Wilton's colouring paste and achieved a vibrant green colour.
  3. Pick your serving dish and proceed to layer each of the ingredients as you prefer. I started with pudding, next added whipping cream, sprinkled graham crumbs on top and continued to repeat until I got the desired affect I was looking for.
