When our last bottle of Club House Parmesan Cheese and Herb Seasoning ran out, and dinner was going on the table in 5 minutes, I came up with this season blend. My family swears it tastes better which I’m thankful for because this recipe is certainly cheaper to make and it comes together in less than 5 minutes.
I’m slowly trying to replace all my manufactured food items with recipes I can make from scratch. I don’t think I’ll be able to replace all of them, but I’ve been really happy with my progress so far. Not only am I saving money but it sure is nice to know exactly what is in my food. A few of my other successes include:
- Caesar salad dressing
- Chocolate chip granola bars
- Popsicles
- Strawberry jam
- Caramel sauce
- Guacamole
- Tomato Salsa
- Bacon Jam
You get the idea. I don’t think I’ll get as far as making my own ketchup or anything, but hey, I hear it tastes pretty darn good. I do what to come up with my own BBQ sauce recipe at some point. I’m especially happy with out this recipe for Parmesan Cheese and Herb Seasoning turned out as it had become a staple in our home over the past few years.
