Cheesy Marinara Gnocchi Bake + WIN a copy of Eat Delicious by Dennis The Prescott

I am so excited to be giving away a copy of this beautiful cook book: Eat Delicious by Dennis The Prescott. My copy livings on my coffee table when it’s not being carried around in my purse. The book was only just released and I’m still adding my sticky notes to the recipes I want to try. I loved the book so much I bought a second copy to share with one of my lovely readers!

I first met Dennis at the Food Bloggers of Canada conference in Toronto last year (2016). He taught a photography class at the conference which I am SO happy I attended. Dennis shared some amazing tips and techniques for taking incredible photos of food which I still use to this day. While my photos still have a ways to go to catch up to the amazing works of art he creates with his food, every day my pictures are heading in a positive direction. You seriously need to check out Dennis’ Instagram account.

I decided to try my hand at Dennis’ recipe for homemade gnoochi that he then uses in a Cheesy Marinara Gnocchi Bake. It was truly difficult to decide which recipe to sample first… I have A LOT of sticky notes in my cook book. I’ve always wanted to make homemade gnocchi. They were like little pillows of softness. After I cooked the gnocchi they were then covered in a delicious made-from-scratch marinara sauce.

My husband was happy to hear I made a double batch so we could enjoy them again another day. I gather my son also enjoyed the meal as he ate three servings himself. Those growing teenage boys. Wow!

I’m sure you’re tired of me talking about the delicious dinner I had so you can learn how you can get your hands on a copy of this book!! One lucky person will recipe this copy of the book below. (My copy had too many sticky notes in it) There are a few different ways to enter, the first is by leaving a comment below. This content is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec. Sorry!!) and the United States who are over age eighteen (18) years old. The draw will be open until May 31 12:00 midnight EST. The winner will be notified by email.

  2. I was green with envy following along that session with Dennis last fall on social media. At the time I didn’t know he was an author in the making, just a super crazy talented photographer and food stylist. So amazing that you got to meet him and run this contest.

Home gnocchi is on m list of “I need to try, one day’ but with the broken finger it just didn’t happen this winter. I think I am running out of excuses.

    • Oh, I can totally see how a broken finger would slow you down! Lots of time, it will be so worth it when you get the opportunity. Fluffy cloud of yumminess!

  3. I love a book that engages me so much that I have a plethora of colorful sticky notes poking out of it! That means it’s a good book 🙂
