These tasty Sticky Baked Chicken pieces had me thinking of homemade Chinese food and imagining how this sauce would taste on chicken wings. It was sweet and sticky and after attempting to eat the chicken with a knife and fork, I abandoned my efforts and went in with my fingers. Deee-licious!
I loved serving the mild tasting food (rice and broccoli) with this Sticky Chicken so that is would complement and not try compete with the sweet taste of the chicken. Getting the chicken ready was super easy, just mix the ingredients together in a pot on the stove top, arrange the chicken in the dish and pour the sauce over top. Try turn the chicken a few times while it’s cooking so you get an even coating all over the chicken.
Don’t be afraid to use up the yummy sauce to dress your rice. After I took these pictures, I went back and bathed my rice in the sauce. Was sooo good! I’m really happy I made extra as I ate the leftovers for lunches for a couple days after. I may have drove my lunch partners a little crazy with the delicious smell but I did end up sharing. 😉
